Episode 6: Interaction - The Path is Always Right in Front of You It had been a while since I started dedication myself to the Sunday class. The number of participants slowly increased, led by the assistant instructor, and the members gradually became settled. The class was scheduled from 10:00 to 12:00, but we did not care. We stayed at the dojo and continued practicing until the evening. Even after practice at the dojo was over, we didn't return home, but moved to a coffee shop and began discussing martial arts. As we lost track of time in endless discussions about Kyokushin Karate and the saga of the ancient masters, not to mention technical discussions, we started to tingle again and eventually began to practice at night on the street. The training on the street was so intense that my jacket was torn, and I often got bruises on my arms and chest. I would take the last train to come home so often and naturally, with my clothes and body worn out, get scolding from my mother. But despite my mother's anger and the pain I felt in my body, there was no way to stop my passion. In addition to the fascination of pursuing the profound path of martial arts, the interaction with my friends in the martial arts strongly encouraged me to devote all my youth to it. |
